How long do I have to file a personal injury claim in Delaware?
Delaware gives most injury victims two years from the date of the accident to file a claim (10 Del. C. § 8119). Some claims — such as those against a government entity — have shorter notice deadlines, so it is best to speak with a lawyer as soon as possible.
